"Even if Umbria isn't washed by the sea, la Locanda del Poggio offers the most delicious, freshest seafood meals that you can get around here. I suggest to get "menu fisso" that includes a great variety of warm and cold antipasti, different kind of pasta or gnocchi, fried seafood, giant shrimp, wine, lemon sorbet, coffe, grappa and limoncello. Don't expect to feel hungry after that! Portions are huge and food is really well seasoned and cooked. If you are a tourist in Umbria i think this place is worth to spend lunch or dinner also because the view of the surrounding mountains leaves you breathless. A reservation is suggested because the place is always full."

"By far the best seafood in the region of Terni. The whole Branzino (or Spigola - Sea Bass) and the Orata (Gilt-head Bream) were spectacular. The service was excellent and the prices reasonable for the quality and quantity of seafood. We'll be back"

"Cena di festeggiamenti in famiglia splendida e memorabile. Si nota subito la cordialità e disponibilità del personale ma quello che lascia senza parole è la varietà del menu e la dimensione delle portate. Abbiamo preso: antipasto "completo" (piatto di freddi seguito da piatto di caldi), tris di tartare condite, primi vari e arrosto misto. Hanno anche menu di terra ma non l'ho proprio letto... Pur stando all'aperto di sera si sta bene grazie al posizionamento di ventilatori in posizioni strategiche. Una piccola oasi di peccati di gola!"

Abbiamo ordinato un menù fisso di pesce le ciò portate erano per due, menù pesce bambino altrettanto per due, un paio di primi (tagliolinj tartufo, asparagi e funghi... Eccezionali!) su una fiamminga corrispondente a porzioni x 4 persone, tant'è che è stato impossibile finire tutto, anche la frittura di pesce freschissima e croccante era enorme. Ci hanno gentilmente incartato per portare a casa. Servizio professionale, velocissimo e super cortese. Stra consigliato! Spesa mrdia 30 eur a testa. Degustazione di digestivi finale, che seppur era prevista per il solo menù di pesce, il cameriere l'ha portata per tutti. 10 e lode!"

"I went to the Locanda some days ago, together with my wife. We wanted to have some seafood dishes. So we chose to go for dinner at the Locanda del Poggio. Very busy on thursday. We had the 34€ course. If course excellent seafood, 8 appetizer 4 cold and 4 warm. Excellent. 1 Risotto very appreciated. 2 Main courses. Fried clam and prawn (Frittura) an 4 grilled prawn. Grechetto wine and lemon sorbetto at the end. Good quality for price. To be suggested"
